So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

The most common criticism of consultants is that once their report has been completed it is put on the shelf to gather dust along with all the other consultants' reports. As a result, the change is only short-lived and the problem returns. Imagine if you went to the dentist only to find that your toothache returned the following morning or employed a builder to construct an extension and found cracks appearing two weeks later. The goal is real long-term results, not short-term fixes. Czerniawska (1999) aptly makes this point:
