What is community fundraising?
Community fundraising is perhaps the easiest type of fundraising to identify as it includes many well-known activities, such as coffee mornings, fun runs and quiz nights. However, it is also one of the hardest areas of fundraising to clearly define because organisations categorise and account for their activities differently. For administrative purposes, some organisations might describe community fundraising instead as third-party, public or even volunteer fundraising.
