Data from Giving USA tell us that corporate support of the nonprofit sector represents only a small percentage of donated income, at a mere 5 percent of all voluntary giving. This amount includes the value of cash support, corporate foundation grantmaking, and in-kind donations. It does not include several key forms of corporate support, such as sponsorships and cause-related marketing. These are not included in the Giving USA figures.
