A high-profile event, which stands out from normal fundraising events by offering exclusive activities and involving intensive planning and organisation, often using the support of a dedicated voluntary steering committee.

- Musical and cultural events
- Receptions
- Exhibitions, fairs and festivals
- Conferences and challenge events
