How to do it...

Use the following steps to make user passwords automatically expire and ask the users to reset their password:

1. Open the wpcookbookchapter12.php file of the WPCookbook Chapter 12 plugin in a code editor.
2. Add the following code block at the end of the file to add an expiry date for the passwords of new users:
