How to do it...

In this recipe, we are going to add two blocks. Follow these steps to add a Paragraph block to the editor:

1. Log in to the WordPress Dashboard as an administrator.
2. Click the Pages menu.
3. Click the Add New button.
4. Click the Add Block (the circle with a plus (+) sign) icon to get the block selection screen, as shown in the following screenshot:

5. Click the Paragraph block.
6. Type sample text to get the following screen:

7. Once the content has been added, click the Publish button or add more blocks.
