I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
Use the following steps to generate the XML sitemap for your WordPress site:
- Log in to Dashboard as an administrator.
- Click the XML-Sitemap sub-menu item under the Settings menu to get a screen similar to the following:
- Keep the default settings in the Basic Options section.
- Go to the Additional Pages section.
- If you have any URLs generated outside the WordPress core features, add them by providing the URL, Priority, Change Frequency, and Last Update settings. These might be URLs generated from plugins such as BuddyPress or custom URLs you set up using the WordPress rewrite rules.
