I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
Follow these steps to install new plugins for a multisite network:
- Log in to the WordPress Dashboard as a super administrator.
- Click My Sites | Network Admin from the top menu.
- Click the Plugins menu item to display the available plugins in the network.
- Click the Add New button to install a new plugin for the network.
- Search for a plugin from the WordPress plugin directory.
- Click the Install Now button to install the plugin for the network.
In a multisite, plugins can be activated across all sites or only on individual sites. Let's start with the process of activating a plugin on the entire network:
- Click on My Sites | Network Admin from the top menu to log in to the site as a super administrator.
- Click on the Plugins
