When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
Use the following steps to limit the number of login attempts and block the user:
- Log in to the Dashboard as an administrator.
- Click the Limit Login Attempts submenu item under the Settings menu to get a screen similar to the following:
- Go to Lockout setting and set allowed retries to 4 and minutes lockout to 20. These two values can be any value you prefer based on how frequently you get spam login requests.
- Tick the Email to setting under the Notify on lockout setting and enter an email address to receive notifications on lockout.
- In the Whitelist setting, add your IP and the IPs of other moderators of the site. Each IP ...
