Performance Management Process
As noted earlier, performance management is a continuous process. However, when a system is first implemented, the process follows the following stages (Aguinis, 2009; Grote, 1996): (1) pre-requisites, (2) performance planning, (3) performance execution, (4) performance assessment, (5) performance review, and (6) performance renewal and recontracting.
