Recommendations for Practice
We interviewed four HR practitioners who currently work or have worked with MNCs in Singapore (Bristol-Myers Squibb, American Express, Safeway, Seagate) to get their perspectives regarding cross-cultural performance management. Their respective position titles were either human resources director or regional HR director. We conducted approximately thirty- to forty-five-minute semi-structured interviews with each of the participants. Exhibit 8.1 provides the questions we used for our interview protocol.
