/usr/lib/print/conv_lpd [-c printers | -c printcap][-n] file
When you install or upgrade the Solaris 8 release, existing printer configuration information is automatically converted. You can use the conv_lpd command to convert the printer configuration information for a system running SunOS 4.1. The conv_lpd command converts LPD printer configuration information in a printcap configuration format to entries in an /etc/printers.conf file (see printers.conf(4)).
Alternatively, if the printer configuration information is in printers.conf format, the conv_lpd command converts it to printcap format.
