/usr/sbin/mvdir dirname name
Use the mvdir command to move directories within a file system. dirname must be a directory. If name does not exist, it is created as a directory. If name does exist and is a directory, dirname is created as name/dirname. dirname and name cannot be on the same path; that is, one can not be subordinate to the other. For example, the following command is legal.
castle% mvdir x/y x/z
The following command is not legal.
castle% mvdir x/y x/y/z
