roledel [-r] role
					

Description

The roledel command is new in the Solaris 8 release. Use it to delete a role account from the system and to make the appropriate account-related changes to the system file and file system. roledel also removes the role from each user's list of assumable roles.

Note

The roledel command deletes only an account definition that is in the local /etc/group, /etc/passwd, /etc/shadow, and /etc/user_attr file. If a network nameservice such as NIS or NIS+ is being used to supplement the local /etc/passwd file with additional entries, roledel cannot change information supplied ...
