/usr/sbin/rmmount [-D]
The rmmount command is a removable media mounter that Volume Management executes whenever a CD-ROM or diskette is inserted. The Volume Management daemon, vold(1M), manages CD-ROM and diskette devices. You can also use rmmount by calling volrmmount(1).
On insertion, rmmount determines what type of file system (if any) is on the media. If a file system is present, rmmount mounts the file system in one of the following locations.
| Mount Location | State of Media |

| /floppy/floppy_name | |

| /floppy/unnamed_floppy | |
