ktkt_warnd Kerberos Warning Daemon

Synopsis

/usr/lib/krb5/ktkt_warnd

Description

The ktkt_warnd daemon is new in the Solaris 8 release. It runs on Kerberos clients to warn users when their Kerberos tickets are about to expire. ktkt_warnd is invoked by inetd when a ticket-granting ticket (TGT) is obtained for the first time, such as after using the kinit command. You can configure ktkt_warnd on the client system with the /etc/krb5/warn.conf file.
