/usr/bin/hostconfig -p protocol [-d][-h][-n][-v][-i interface] [-f hostname]
Use the hostconfig command to acquire a system's host parameters and set these parameters on a system. The hostconfig command uses the argument to the required -p option to select which protocol to use. Different protocols can set different host parameters. Currently, only one protocol (bootparams) is defined.
Note
At the time this section was written, the hostconfig command did not work on the Solaris 8 release. The examples are from a Solaris 7 system.
