lpadmin — Configure the LP Print Service

Synopsis

/usr/sbin/lpadmin -p printer
						options
/usr/sbin/lpadmin -x dest
/usr/sbin/lpadmin -d [dest]
/usr/sbin/lpadmin -S print-wheel -A alert-type [-W minutes][-Q requests]
/usr/sbin/lpadmin -M -f form-name [-a [-o filebreak][-t tray-number]]

Description

Use the lpadmin command to configure the LP print service by defining printers and devices. Use it to add and change printers, to remove printers from service, to set or change the system default destination, to define alerts for printer faults, and to mount print wheels.
