People who are too comfortable

When you manage a team which has achieved consistent success over several years, success can become a way of life. Keeping people motivated, challenged and driving forward may become a concern. A sign of a team that is becoming too comfortable is when they focus internally on aspects which have more to do with process and environment than with their customer-facing responsibilities. It is important to maintain drive and momentum, because a culture of comfort is not sustainable and can leave you vulnerable to both external competitive activity and internal dissatisfaction.
