Team job task analysis involves the repeated use of two specific questions for the purpose of breaking down job tasks into smaller tasks. The two questions are:
| 1. | What do you need to know and be able to do to perform the job task (insert name of job task)? |
| 2. | Can you teach and can someone learn that task in 30 minutes? |
Because each job task is made up of many smaller tasks, answering question 1 results in a list of smaller tasks that an employee must accomplish in order to perform the larger job task.
