When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
What to Look for When Evaluating and Modifying Training Modules and Cover Sheets
In general, you should consider the following questions:
Is the training module easy to read under the actual physical work conditions? If not, adjust print size, lighting conditions, or whatever is appropriate.
Does the trainee understand the purpose of the task and how it connects to previous and future tasks? If not, revise the cover sheet to state this information in the “notes” section.
Do both trainer and trainee share a clear understanding of what counts as successful task completion? If not, make sure the performance objective on the cover sheet is clear and adequate.
Are trainer preparations, special requirements, and all prerequisite modules adequately documented ...
