It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to Wrap Up the Team Job Task Analysis
The repeated use of the two questions ends when every task is marked “yes”; that is, when the team agrees that every task can be taught and learned in approximately 30 minutes. Each task then can become the topic of a training module.
When you complete the team job task analysis, put all of these tasks together in one list so that the facilitator, the design team, supervisors, and managers can get a complete picture of what the tasks are. A partial task list for performing routine automobile maintenance is shown in Figure 4.4. That task list won’t be complete until all tasks marked with an asterisk are broken down into smaller tasks.
