How to Set a Timeframe Using Two Parallel Tracks for Program Development
When building the project plan and trying to schedule the other steps of the process, it will be helpful to view the eight-step model as comprising two parallel tracks: (1) a training module development track, and (2) a planning track, as shown in Figure 5.2.

Keep in mind that the eight-step model is very flexible and should be implemented to meet the needs of your own workforce. In actual practice, the training module development track generally occurs simultaneously with the planning track.
