If you receive spam or other unwanted messages from a particular person, you can configure Windows Live Mail to block that person's address so that you do not have to see or deal with messages from that person again.
Spam messages are most often sent with fake return addresses that change with each message. However, it often happens that a particular person sends junk messages using a legitimate return e-mail address. In this case, you can add that address to the Windows Live Mail Blocked Senders list. Any future messages from that person — as well as any messages from that person currently in your Inbox folder — are automatically rerouted to the Junk E-mail folder.
