8.11. Receive E-mail Notification for an Incoming Fax

If you use Windows Fax and Scan to receive incoming faxes, you can configure the program to send you a delivery receipt as an e-mail message each time a fax comes in.

If you receive faxes, Windows Fax and Scan is a handy program because you can configure it to automatically answer incoming fax calls. Windows Fax and Scan then displays a message telling you that a new fax has been received.

However, if Windows Fax and Scan is running on a PC other than the one you are using, you might not be in a position to see the new fax message.
