You can configure a user's parental controls to specify the types of video games that user is allowed to play.

If you have kids, chances are, they have a computer — either their own or one shared with the rest of the family — and, chances are, they play games on that computer. Playing games is in itself not a problem, and most games benefit a child's problem-solving skills and eye-hand coordination.
