2.8. Synchronize Your System Time

You can keep your system time accurate by synchronizing the time with a server computer on the Internet.

Your computer has an internal clock that keeps track of the current date and time. Windows 7 displays the clock's current time in the taskbar, on the right side of the notification area. You also see the current date, and to view the fill date, position the mouse pointer over the time or date until the date banner appears. For many people, the Windows 7 clock has replaced the traditional wall or desktop clock in the office or den.
