It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
4.5. Save Time by Saving and Reusing a Search
If you have a search that you want to run again in the future, you can save the details of the search. This saves you time because instead of defining the same search from scratch, you can simply reuse the saved version.
You can set up and run a search using the Windows 7 search engine. This is a powerful tool for finding files on your system, but setting up a search — particularly one that uses multiple search filters — can be time consuming. If there are searches that you plan on running regularly, it is inefficient to have to set up the same search criteria over and over.
