So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
3.5. Switch to Advanced Sharing to Improve Security
If you share files with other network users, you can configure Windows 7 to control which users can access your files and what actions they can perform on those files.
If your computer is part of a network, it is common to give other users access to some of your files by sharing one or more folders with the network. By default, Windows 7 runs the Sharing Wizard when you opt to share a folder. The Sharing Wizard enables you to choose which users can share the folder and how each person shares it: with Read/Write permissions (the user can make changes) or with Read permissions (the user cannot make changes).
