9.8. Eliminate Spam by Using the Safe Senders List

If you have a junk e-mail problem that feels out of control, you can eliminate all spam from your Inbox by using Windows Live Mail's Safe Senders list.

Windows Live Mail normally marks a message as junk if it detects spam characteristics within the message. A different approach is to set up a whitelist of allowable addresses. Windows Live Mail offers such a whitelist: the Safe Senders list. If a person's address (such as someone@somewhere.com) or an organization's domain (such as somewhere.com) is on the Safe

Senders list, then Windows Live Mail never treats messages from that person or domain as spam.
