3.15. Safeguard Your Computer with a System Image Backup

You can restore your system in the event of a major crash by performing a system image backup using Windows 7's system image backup feature.

Backing up your documents is important because a program crash, power failure, or imprudent deletion could cause one or more documents to be corrupted or lost.

However, PCs can also succumb to more major calamities, such as a virus or a hard drive failure. In such cases, you often lose access to your entire system.
