Facebook: How to Find an Audience and Grow Your Game
To find an audience and grow your Facebook game, find a niche genre and an under-served target group, and don’t have a restrictive view of what qualifies as a game, which might exclude some potentially entertaining interactive apps. Reach players by targeting fans of similar games through Facebook’s advertising platform. Design wall updates to be fun and informative, not spammy—updates with player customizations are good and user-generated content is even better. Use A/B testing, but balance it with a love of games.
