Installing SQL Server Documentation

If you chose to install the Documentation Components when installing SQL Server 2012, be aware that this only installs the Help Viewer components that let you view and manage the SQL Server documentation, but not the actual documentation files. By default, the Help Viewer component uses the online SQL Server library. One of the benefits of using the online library is that you are always accessing the most recent version of the SQL Server documentation. However, if you prefer having the documentation installed locally, after installing the Documentation Components you can run the Help Library Manager to download the documentation to the computer locally.
