Data Types
SQL Server 2012 has an extensive list of data types to choose from. This list is consistent with the data types that were available in SQL Server 2008. Each data type is geared toward a specific type of data that will be stored in the column. Table 20.1 provides a complete list of the data types available in SQL Server 2012.
