Migrating DTS Packages
Support for running DTS packages has been discontinued in SQL Server 2012, as has support for migrating DTS packages to SSIS. If you are still using DTS packages and want to bring the functionality into SQL Server 2012, you have the following two options for migrating DTS packages:
Migrate the packages first to SQL Server 2005 SSIS or SQL Server 2008 SSIS using the DTS Package Migration Wizard available with those versions and then upgrade the SSIS packages generated by these tools to SQL Server 2012 Integration Services using the SQL Server 2012 SSIS Package Upgrade Wizard.
