How to Approach Disaster Recovery

Often, DR specialists refer to a seven-level DR paradigm. These levels start at the bottom of the DR food chain (Level 0, no offsite data—possibly no recovery) and progress up to the highest level of DR possible (Level 7, zero to near-zero data loss with highly automated recovery). We developed a much more simplified and more generalized five-level (Level 0 through Level 4) representation that should help you understand DR and how you can approach it more readily.
