Installing WSFC
As you can see in Figure 42.8, the cluster “service” is running as shown in the Windows Server Manager, Configuration and Services window. This should be the case on both physical servers (nodes)..

Note
If the cluster service is not started and won’t start, you cannot install SQL Server failover clustering. You have to remove and then reinstall WSFC from scratch. You should browse the Event Viewer to familiarize yourself with the types of warnings and errors that can appear with WSFC.
