Fail Over to Another Node
As you can see in Figure 42.25, before the SQL Server fails over to the other node, a stern “Please confirm action” is required to complete this action. You must realize that client connections will be broken for any inflight transactions that are currently processing. Be careful here.

In addition, the failure, move, and taking offline of a node is also written to the System event log.
