Developing Reports Using SSDT

When your data sources are in ready, the first step is to create a Report Server Project. This SSRS-specific project type enables the development and organization of most report objects. Launch SSDT, and, using its main menu, click File, New, Project. In the New Project dialog, click the Business Intelligence Projects node in the tree at the left of the screen; then click Report Server Project under Visual Studio Installed Templates (shown in Figure 55.10).
