Defining Resource Pools

When setting up a Resource Pool, you have to specify a name for the pool and set its properties. The properties available for a resource pool within SSMS are as follows:

Name—The name used to refer to the resource pool

Minimum CPU %—The guaranteed average CPU bandwidth for all requests to the resource pool when there is CPU contention

Maximum CPU %—The maximum average CPU bandwidth for all requests to the resource pool when ...
