• Initial: Deliverables that must be completed upon initiation

of the element or before the element enters the intermediate

phase.

• Intermediate: Deliverables that must be completed during the

process of the element. These deliverables may be started dur-

ing the initial phase, but must be completed before the nal

phase.

• Final: Deliverables that must be completed before the process

moves on to the next element.
