About the Author

Patricia Cardoza didn't plan on spending her life working with computers. She graduated from the University of California, Davis with a degree in Environmental Sciences, but every job she has ever had has involved computers. Finally, in 1996, she stopped fighting the inevitable and took a job as an IT manager for a telecommunications company in Sacramento, California.
