The Tools of the Trade
There are many communication tools available to reach your investors. Creativity in your communications materials and effective targeting of potential investors are critical, since you are trying to cut through the clutter and catch an investor's attention. You do not need to use all of these tools (with the exception of those required by law); this list is a starting point in developing a plan. In addition to considering your audience's preferences, you will want to factor in management goals, the priorities of your investor relations program, your staff talents and resources.
