In developing the content for this second edition, a review of the 2006 edition was conducted in addition to the competency research referenced earlier. The Accreditation Council and other communication leaders agreed that this new edition would benefit from more case studies and examples, a greater focus on measurement, and less redundancy. In this edition readers will find more examples of principles and practices that support the foundational elements of business communication.
