Created with phpDocumentor, this API reference gives you a visual look at the Joomla Framework to better understand what each piece of the puzzle does without staring at source code. Of course, if you drill down far enough in each section, you will eventually get to the source code.
- Joomla! Developer (http://developer.joomla.org)
This website serves as a place for developers to find resources, as well as find ways to get involved.
- Joomla! Extensions Directory (http://extensions.joomla.org)
Commonly referred to as the JED, this website is your one-stop shop for finding thousands of GPL extensions designed for Joomla. After you have written your first extension and feel that others in the community will benefit from it, add it to the extensions directory to make it easier to find.
- JoomlaCode (http://joomlacode.org)
This is a forge site that allows developers to create accounts for the purpose of developing and distributing open source extensions for Joomla.
- Joomla Bug Tracker (http://joomlacode.org/gf/project/joomla/tracker)
This page contains a list of all of the outstanding bugs that exist in Joomla. If you see one that you think you can fix, give it a shot.
