Creating a Custom HTML Module
As you’ve seen, modules do many things, but sometimes all you want is a little text or HTML code on your site outside of the main content area. That’s the perfect use of a custom HTML module. This module allows to you paste any text, images, or HTML you want and have it show up in a module position. To create a custom HTML module:
Go to Extensions→Module Manager and click the New button in the top toolbar (see Figure 9-6).

Enter a module title and choose both a position and order. Also select where you want the menu to show up in the Menu Assignment box.
Enter your text, images, or other HTML in the WYSIWYG editor at the bottom.
Click Save.
