I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Extension Compatibility
There is no legacy mode in Joomla 1.6 like there is in Joomla 1.5, so Joomla 1.0 extensions are not compatible with Joomla 1.6. Also, Joomla 1.5 extensions aren’t compatible with Joomla 1.6. There’s no legacy support, but it’s a simple upgrade for extension developers who have made their components truly Joomla 1.5 native.
