
23. Finish off the artwork. An orange pumpkin is preferable to a
lime green one. But it seems to me it could use some additional
fl avoring, as follows:
•
Using the black arrow tool, Shift-click on the outline of the
central circle to deselect it.
• In the Graphic Styles panel, click the second-to-last style,
Face Scribbles, to change the angle of the scribble patterns
and shift their hues toward a deep olive green.
•
In the document window, Shift-click the outline of the
square to leave only the eyes and mouth selected.
• Click the Opacity link in the control panel to bring up the
pop-up version of the Transparency panel. Then change
the blend mode from Normal to Multiply to burn the face
into the circle. Figure 10-28 shows the fi nal effect.
