If you're going to be doing a bunch of detail work in which you need to zoom in really close on your image, you might want to create two views of the same document (Figures 1.18 and 1.19). That way, you can have one of the views at 100% magnification to give you an overall view of your image, and you can set the second one to 500% magnification, for instance, to see all the fine details. To create a second view, choose Window > Arrange > New Window. This will create a second window that looks like a separate document, but it's really just another view of the same document. You can make your edits in either window, and both of them will show you the result of your manipulations.
