When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Full Screen Mode
The third screen mode icon, Full Screen Mode, is my favorite. In this mode, Photoshop turns off even the menu bar! Now your image can take over the entire screen (Figure 1.12). You can still use many of the menu commands, as long as you know their keyboard equivalents. If you zoom out while in this mode, Photoshop will fill the area around your image with black. (I don't know how to change that one.) I use this mode whenever I show images to clients. If you don't let them know you're in Photoshop, they might think you are in a cheap little slide-show program, and won't ask you to make changes on the spot.
